Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA), Pakistan. Engaged by the UK Department of International Development (DFID) to lead ERRA in preparing an international-quality M&E report with extensive evaluative content. The report covered 13 diverse sectors and cross-cutting themes, as well as organizational processes such as procurement, financial management and materials management. January-February 2008.
IUCN—World Conservation Union, for Preparation of Background Studies on Environment for DFID. Prepared Summary Strategic Environmental Assessment for Pakistan based on secondary data, covering all aspects of environmental management, the legislative, judicial and regulatory framework, and national policies and plans. April-May 2007.
Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP), Study on Operational Insights from Twenty Years of AKRSP. Five AKRSP and EDC staff and consultants worked to develop insights in social mobilization, natural resource management, enterprise development, community infrastructure development and organization and management. This was a DFID-financed project and outputs were included in a book published in the UK. March-June 2003.
Evaluation of the Second Phase of the Oxfam Drought Relief Programme in Balochistan (Chagai district). An external evaluation of a project for the drought affectees in Balochistan funded by the European Community and DFID and implemented by Oxfam. Obtained information from field survey and conducted analysis of project activities and management in terms of their efficiency, effectiveness, impact and relevance. June 2001.
OXFAM Pakistan, Evaluation of the Drought Relief Programme for the Population of Sindh and Balochistan. Main objective of the assignment was to determine as systematically and objectively as possible the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency and impact of activities for an external evaluation of food and fodder distribution and other emergency relief activities for the drought effected areas funded by the European Community and DFID and implemented by Oxfam and its partner NGOs. December 2000-January 2001.
DFID. EDC provided an Institutional and Social Development Expert for the appraisal of Kashf, an NGO dealing with micro-finance for poor women in Punjab. November-December 1998.

Overseas Development Administration (ODA), Study of Social Safety Nets in Pakistan. Examined the characteristics and causes of poverty; the formal and informal social safety nets in Pakistan; the effectiveness and efficiency of social safety nets; recommendations for practical ways of reducing poverty and attaining secure and sustainable improvement in living standards. October-November 1993.
